Widgeon Marsh Regional Park Management Planning Wildlife Study

Widgeon Marsh Regional Park Management Planning Wildlife Study

Wildlife cameras have been deployed to monitor seasonal and spatial patterns of wildlife activity in Widgeon Marsh Regional Park prior to opening the area to public access. The park is situated on a natural travel corridor surrounded by relatively intact protected areas and is currently undergoing Management Plan Development. The project's objectives are to gather information on current wildlife activity patterns and use this information to assist in park management plan development to protect important activity areas and mitigate potential human-wildlife conflict.
