Interior BC Moose Predation Risk Project

Interior BC Moose Predation Risk Project

Two arrays of 50 wildlife cameras were deployed southwest of Prince George and northwest of Kamloops to identify the impacts of forest harvesting on distributions of moose and their predators. Predator distributions will be used to investigate the impacts of predation risk upon moose calf survival and habitat selection. The cameras are part of a provincial moose monitoring project, which aims to understand the causes of moose declines across Interior BC.
