Murrough O'Brien

From an early age, Murrough's home on Vancouver Island was surrounded by forest. Beginning then, he spent countless hours simply wandering, looking and finding favourite places which sometimes turned out to be from the signs he saw, favourite places for animals as well. The woods were comforting and an enjoyable place to be especially for one with a curious nature.

His main interest at present is the elusive, enigmatic, cryptic and majestic cougar because as much as it is so highly admired and studied, not enough is known about it. Of course, nearly everything else in nature interests him as well.

His interests in trail cams is very specific in that he is trying to capture the nearly impossible image of a cougar scratching an Arbutus tree.
