Greg Melvin

Greg Melvin is currently a wildlife research technician in the laboratory of Evelyn Merrill at the University of Alberta. He is part of a research team studying the transmission and spread of chronic wasting disease in Alberta. The study is employing remote cameras to assess mule deer density in the study area, as well as direct and indirect contact rates among mule deer. Greg is responsible for classifying images and maintaining a grid of thirty-five remote cameras in the aspen parkland of east-central Alberta.
