Mary Beth Pongrac
Mary Beth is interested in being a volunteer "citizen scientist" with WildCAM. She currently has three trail cams in operation in the Sechelt area which, since April 2019, have recorded cougars, black bears, bobcats, Roosevelt elk, coyotes, and snowshoe hares. She is interested in not only the variety and frequency of mammals her cameras pick up, but how much wildlife activity occurs in daylight in an area where there is abundant human activity. She has made two videos: i) "Things that go bump in the night" (night footage); and ii) "Let's go for a hike" (daytime footage).
