Madeleine Wrazej
Madeleine is an MSc student in the Wildlife Coexistence (WildCo) lab at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on the impacts of non-motorized recreation on mountain goats in Banff and Yoho National Parks using minimally invasive fecal stress hormone sampling and camera traps. She is working in collaboration with Parks Canada with the aim of informing mountain goat conservation and management decisions within the Mountain National Parks. Before joining WildCo, she worked for Parks Canada conducting ecological monitoring. In this role, she was involved in maintaining a large wildlife camera trap network and reporting on the ecological integrity of the parks.
